Built an AI-assisted operating model (Lovable, Claude, Figma with MCP) that moved discovery upstream into product and engineering, with design as partner and quality bar. The team stayed lean. The org got faster.

Made a multi-market checkout legible enough to design against: a payment-methods matrix that became the company's source of truth, and funnel measurement that put prioritisation on evidence.

Led design across a portfolio of new-product bets: new ways to pay (payment requests and reusable payment pages), a B2B billing portal for merchants, and a consumer bill-payment platform for the South African market. Took each from concept through prototype to a defined path to market.

Set the principles, standards, and career framework for design, hired into the team, and held quality across product, brand, and documentation while the function stayed deliberately small.

Led design behind the company's biggest revenue growth: an international payments launch worth roughly $20M, plus tax-management and enterprise approval-rule products that closed deals and drove adoption.
